"The Well"

We meet every other Friday evening on Zoom to connect, support each other, and study the Word of God.

Our group is open to women of all ages and backgrounds who are interested in exploring and deepening their faith. We discuss different topics and passages from the Bible, share our insights and experiences, and pray for each other.

The virtual format allows us to connect with women from different parts of the world and provides flexibility for those with busy schedules. Plus, you can participate from the comfort of your own home!

Meet "The Well" Ministry Lead

Merlinda Balmas

Merlinda manages the execution of international promotional partnerships in over 60 markets at Warner Bros. Theatrical Marketing. There, she felt God’s calling to start 9t5, a ministry whose purpose is to equip and encourage Christians in their God-given roles to function with a Kingdom mindset and win their sphere of influence for Christ. She is also a board member and a Co-Director of Hollywood Prayer Network, a non-profit organization with over 10,000 members that seeks to build a bridge between the Church and Hollywood through prayer and is committed to mobilizing Christians around the world to pray for the people, the projects, and the issues in the entertainment industry. Merlinda is also the President of Open Table Outreach (OTO), an organization that has served the homeless communities in Long Beach and Hollywood for the past ten years.  Merlinda has been a member of Hollywood Adventist Church for the past 5 years and serves in several ministry roles. Her heart is to love Jesus and love like Him.
